Game blocked in Germany because of missing age rating
Hello dear project team!

I noticed that the game is blocked for future sales on Steam in Germany, probably because of new regulations concerning age rating.
I have fond memories of playing it in VR quite some time ago, so I'd like to see it staying available for sale to gamers in my country.

It seems you just need to fill out a questionnaire on steam to get it rated and unblocked:

I noticed this too. I have this game on my wishlist and all of a sudden it says that it's not available. If the devs are even listening just fill out the form, it takes like 10 minutes and the game will be available to the third biggest market again, cheers.

Enjoyed it from release, and imho is one best full-sized open-world vr titles. It would be a pity if new VR gamers can't enjoy it, too.

Just stumbled over this. The age rating process can be done on Valve's side just by filling out their survey about age rating, so you don't have to spend the costs for getting a rating from the USK.
As the game does have German subtitles, it would be a pitty if future German players would miss out on this great game.
I enjoyed The Solus Project back then in VR and was hoping for a native Linux version. Yet, I can play it today on Linux as it works great via Valve's Proton. In VR and on Steam Deck.
Would be great if it comes back to the German Steam store.

Buy hey Star Trek: Picard get's rated 16, even with this eye-ripping scene....

Using a VPN violates the SSA and you could lose your Steam account. Excerpt from the SSA:
You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to order or purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account.

And how often you think they enforce that? It's basicall the same geographic region and not trying to change the pricing.

"... or for any other purpose" means that it's not allowed at all, for whatever reason. And whether you get caught or not doesn't matter. The point is that it's a breach of contract. So recommending this isn't wise.
