yea because like that wasnt the first thing i tried :/.....i tried and tried and couldnt get the gate open using 3 of the 4 and using all of them with no joy, it seems completley random, even other people ive watched play it didnt know how they done it , it just happened

Well, to be honest, I was a little surprised that you got that far in the game and still you didn´t find out how the pressure plates worked. I guess I was wrong...:)

Crysis 1 is the best Crysis, it had the best Nanosuit and it was open world.

last time i checked you placed a heavy object on them and they opened the door. this is not the case this time. so considering ive got as far as i have would suggest i know how they work being ive had to use them before right...oh damn i fell for it ..the typical bs troll post...shame on me

At first I put a stone on every onee of them. Then I took the one that is nearest to the door away and voila, it opened. Maybe it is the order of the stones (that you have to put one on all and then have to take one away?). Whatever, it opened very quickly.

Yeah, I noticed that :D

I put a rock on all but the one in front of the door...

i managed to do it some how all i know is that i had to remove the rock from the pad closest to the door once all the others were in place (there is an order to do it but like many others i stumbled on to it)

there is no correct order to do it in, you only too to put the rocks on all the pressure plates except the one closest the door. it doesnt matter the order, as long as all plates are pressed excpet the one

thats not correct as i tried that and didnt work

sorry i should of been clearer i mean there is an order to how you get to the completed puzzle (are all pressure plates pressed except the one thats in front of the door)

there isnt a correct order to do it in, only a correct sequence that can be achieved by any order as long as it gets to that sequence
