i think the game has a memory leak issue somewere, best advice i can give is to reset the game between heists.

had this happen enough to know (on both my tower and laptop) that it happens on fresh loads too (and pretty consistantly). Im pretty much down to simply waiting for patches...

Hello Warlord, and sorry for the long delay in answering. We are aware of some technical issues which can cause crashes after a certain time. Before these issues can directly be addressed, please try running the game with the following parameters:

Windowed mode

Reduced rendering quality
-fboQuality=3

You can set one of those parameters or try some combinations. Setting all of these uses the least amount of video memory. You can even try reducing the quality parameters down from 3 but that is not recommended.

Hopefully this, along with Liro's advise about restartingi the game before a longer heist allows you to finish the heists and avoids those frustrating moments in the end.
