Episode 2 is our team's latest and greatest work by far, introducing new characters, new environments, new worldbuilding, new evil women, and featuring two brand new, original tracks composed as Morgan and Emma's themes by the incredibly talented Lena Raine.[kuraine.notion.site]

Even if you aren't playing Episode 2 this week, you'll notice a variety of improvements and bug fixes across the board. Read the patch notes below for more information on what we've polished, or jump straight into Episode 2 and see it all for yourself!

Controls

Updated Steam store page to have at least 13 GB available to accommodate new filesize.
Updated Steam store page to recommend playing with at least a dedicated graphics card.

Visuals & UI

Redesigned visuals and presentation on all evidence-cards encountered in gameplay.
Redesigned visuals for Blackjack cards.
Redesigned how Photographs and non-visual items are viewed in your phone's evidence list.
Redesigned Blind Counter for displaying how much credit you're currently risking during trials.
Updated "Wanna Bet?" animation seen when objecting to testimony.
Updated visuals on all phone charms' "acryllic" materials.

Environments

Improved visuals, redesigned elements inside the Courtroom and Courthouse Lobby backgrounds.
Corrections to wire generation accuracy.

Controls

Added smoothing to camera movement when starting up or returning to Investigation perspectives.
Smoothed scrollbar movement when holding up or down with non-mouse scroll wheel controls.

Bugs & Other Miscellaneous Fixes

Fixed an issue where settings changed inside the phone's menus could fail to save properly for next session.
Fixed an issue where audio was not properly faded in to max users settings upon loading a save file.

Episode 2 Releasing on December 23rd

We're pushing back the release of Episode 2 by an additional weekend in order to put our latest and greatest work through the ringer a few more times.

The whole team is floored by your excitement, passion, and anticipation, and we deeply regret if this delay has upset your plans to spend "almost early Christmas" with Morgan and the rest of the cast.

It will be more than worth the wait.

Episode 2 is the biggest, flashiest, most stylish story we've told to date, and you'll be left stunned when you get your hands on it this December the 23rd.

Getting used to her new work-life balance after the events of Episode 1 has left Morgan with some growing pains, and that kind of stress isn't good for your mental health.

Fortunately for her, the lower wards of the city are the perfect getaway; full of broken cameras and choking fog, with streets monitored by gangs and governed with synthetic muscle.

What more could a girl ask for?

Time to get back into the swing of things.

The roots of organized crime have always run deep, but they've had to learn to grow their branches tall to survive in the late twenty-first century. Morgan will travel from the city's lowest depths to its highest peaks as she finds herself caught in the middle of a cold-gang-war spanning decades right as it starts to heat up.

episode 2 file size?

is the 10 gb file size listed for episode 2 in addition to the file size of the main game? when i picked up episode 1 it didn't add to the total file size and i'm wondering if i'll have to allocate more space to play it or if the game already added the space in an update. my computer really doesn't have too much space on it....
