drag from one block to another block and then choose what it is called, if you're out the gym while it is gymtime, then guards will scream, but with gardening/cleaning the zone only gives a arrow to what place it is, safe zones are for outside/inside or insideonly jails, if you put a safe-zone outside in these 2 types of jails, then snipers won't shoot you (espect if you have got +90 guard heat) and the cell-zones are for cells, if you make a jail where people share rooms, make the HOLE room your cell, else guards will scream at you in your own cell, because the zone saids that you're in another ones room

*facepalm* Click and hold your mouse and drag it to the other area in the editor

So rude!

I've tried everything y'all are saying but it doesn't work.
I try clicking and dragging but when I do it thinks I'm trying to clear an area, and when I use my other mouse button it tries to copy the target area instead of making a zone.
Also to mention when I go to "create new zone" and select a zone type, it plays a sound that I think means it can't be created, and I don't know why
