I want to do something that could keep me alive a bit longer or even in a rare chance i can get back up, for example if downed and there is a swarm of dead around you, you will get infected for sure but make it so we hold off the swarm while downed waiting for assistance if you managed to get back up you will be crippled (slow at running and doing regular activities), and if downed by one there could be a slight chance of picking yourself up without the help of anyone but you will be crippled as well, on how to fix the crippling i suggest adding splints or braces to make you walk and do things a bit faster but you will get more tired as there is less mobility.
