Mods will be really the best thing for this game, but it seems like the devs don't want to touch that route even though mods helped them with their first game to keep it relevant. L4d2 is also another game that still lives by merit of mods.

I used to love playing that Walking Dead prison map on the first game, i agree with y'all, mods would be dope, i'm happy they are bringing back that second game mode too
