No More Room in Hell 2

No More Room in Hell 2

They should not have added preferred difficulty
Lore-wise, It made more sense to be have a randomized difficulty because its a zombie outbreak, you shouldnt be able to predict how bad its going to be. It should just be zombies in the area and we need people to deal with it. I dont know how they can tell theres a lil light zombie storm and the zombies look a little slower and frail.
Gameplay-wise its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the matchmaking, since that update I haven't found a full game but that maybe due to recent news.

I do not mind the casual difficulty but that should have been in its own queue maybe for people who need to brush up on their skills or drunk people who wanna just blast things.

I dont know what lore has to do with difficulty, also pretty sure most people prefer when they can choose the difficulty or the map, and even with the current system it is not like you always get the difficulty you want, you can already see people complaining for not getting nightmare or being send to the same map like 10 times, yeah my guy they totally enjoy it

You must realize majority of players wanted to add preferred difficulty, including myself.

I don't really see how it will affect the lore.
Also it is totally optionnal as you can get match in a nigtmare game as you look for a casual one...

The fact we cant pick a map or difficulty (still, even though they supposedly addressed it) kind of shows how the big brain decisions making going on behind the scenes. Not being able to K responder is a big change that needed to happen a long time ago too. Having permadeath enabled in such a buggy state.... bad idea as well.

Chalk it up to lore all you want it makes for a horrible video game. Remember when we started?: Rng perks for your rng character that will play on an rng map with a rng difficulty! Sounds like a great time right? Player count during that time was almost the same it is now (~100 or less).

The thing that made the first game do well is that it had the freedom to choose what you wanted to play, with what modes/mods/maps at will. Most servers that did well had !rtv purposely to skip maps that were played too much or were just bad maps.

dude I lost many characters to disconnecting, bugged missions, crashes and nightmare difficulty more than what I lost to the zombies. I had no fun in that so yes the lower difficulty is so welcome.

Nah, I like the difficultly slider. Sometimes I just wanna smoke weed after a long day of work, pick up a bunch of ammo and just kill sum zombies. Plus it makes leveling up character much easier and fun.

from what i´ve heard so far is that the only people having problem with the new difficultysystem are people trying to get into casual or easy settings. They keep saying
they´re still being forced into hard or nightmare matches. Basicly proving that a huge majority of the remaining players find this game a bit to easy.

Yeah, thats why this game never stood a chance as a commercialized product to begin with. Because if they ported the valve gamer experience over they wouldn't make as much $$$ with dlc or centralized content streams...one of the reasons why I disown people that think working within the for profit model will fix the core issues.

All while TB flags itself as community based feedback, whilst conveniently ignoring all of the NMRIH fan base that would have wanted mods, zombie children, and fully selectable maps and difficulty.
honestly until this game has if it ever will have a healthy playerbase it should only have one queue in general for now.

all i know is being unable to pick map/difficulty is one of the main reasons i dont even try to play this game anymore. Nothing like being thrown into the same map 100x in a row on a difficulty thats too easy for you.

Like i said, big brain devs killing the game with so many poor design choices. Rng rng rng! open world! Rpg mechanics! QUICKPLAYYYYYYYYYY! And forget everything that made the first game good.

Whats worse is we the community have given feedback to which the devs respond in the worst possible way, not addressing the issue but instead trying a work around that kind of but not really fixes it. Still cant retire/K responder from main menu, still cant pick difficulty, map, region, etc.

Having only 1 que would exacerbate these issues so that the game experience is as inconvenient as possible to the player, and the player has no choice whatsoever in how they want to play; leading to a further decline (or in this case, flatline) of the playerbase.
