Wireless mouse? I personally prefer those with the wire. The thing with wireless mice is the receiver may not always pick up the mouse signal either because the mouse is running low on batteries or it's too far away. Maybe your mouse has that ball under it, but that's unlikely. Once my mouse didn't respond well to scrolling. Even if I opened it and cleaned it, it wouldn't work. It was broken. I get a new mouse and it works fine. Maybe your mouse is somehow broken. Try using another mouse.

I keep losing the ability to turn or look around with the mouse. The buttons work fine I can zoom and fire, just stuck in one direction. This happens every time I join a game, after about 30 secs. Wireless mouse. I've tried plugging the receiver in a different usb port. Frustrated. Any ideas?

Does this only happen in Uberstrike?
Did you try with another mouse, to see if it's a specific problem with your mouse.
As P2M said, maybe it's running low on batteries.
If nothing seems to be wrong with your mouse, maybe try posting your problem on the vanilla forums: forum.uberstrike.com

If you end up buying a new mouse one day, I definitely recommend one with a wire for gaming. they usually have much better performances and don't have as many problems;

Thanks for the comments. I've tried a wired mouse and the same thing happens. And not only in Uberstrike, in Red Crucible too. I'm running on a Macbook Pro, if that makes things clearer.
I'll post on the other forum too.

I run Uberstrike on a Macbook Pro with a simple wired mouse. No issues here.

Happens to me too, sometimes. I'm on an iMac with a wireless mouse.
