But really it's no surprise, sunsetting was bound to happen, looking at the game's deplorable condition these past 3 years... Whenever you purchase non guaranteed permanent virtual items with real money, you actually flush money down the toilet (not talking about uberstrike only lol). Somewhere deep in your mind you know that. You judge the transaction was totally worth it because first and foremost you want to enjoy yourself right away.
So we should blame our impatience and lack of judgement instead, putting aside the wholly different question of spending money on real goods rather than virtual ones.
It's too late now. I can't go back and you can't go back either. Carpe diem is a double edged sword.
RIP Ubz and all the cash players invested on it.
Except when it comes to tf2, csgo or dota 2 trading because you can cash out all your items via paypal or bitcoin. This was the reason why I was in full support of making Uberstrike items marketable on SCM, because then people at least had a way to cash out and newcomers had a cheap way to get good items, however rare they might have been even 3 years ago.
You've got a point there mate, my bad, totally forgot to consider buy and sell systems lol. I can go on and demonstrate you that if you can cash back an item, it then becomes permanent but I don't wanna be that guy who thinks he's always right.
Now I don't hold a grudge against you but you also got a blind spot in your reasoning: your support making uberstrike items marketable was just desperate and futile.
Even in uberstrike's glorious days it was small compared to tf2, csgo, etc. To apply the market system some big titles possess you need to gather conditions and one is a large, active and competitive player base; things that uberstrike lost long ago. Also, there's the fact that you can only buy the same item once in ubz, changing the fact would upset the entire economy.
