Since you're almost done with the main tutorial, It might be easier to watch the rest. You're on 8 minutes 20 seconds: https://gearcity.info/tutorials/_TutorialVideos/MainTutorial_Full.html
There are are several more hours of tutorials on that site.
In case of dropdown with AIs, the tutorial did not tell to change the settings. So I just shrugged it off.
In the second case the tutorial tell me to open the dropdown and choose limo Sedan instead. Default is coupe.
Watched the linked video at the mentioned timemark. In the video you can see the dropdown stay open to choose sedan (in my translation its called limo). In my case it wont stay open.
Interesting, Are you moving the mouse to the side while dragging down or using the scroll wheel? The mouse cursor should be over the drop down menu for it to remain open. Any inputs (mouse button down, clicking, mouse up, scrolling, etc.) outside of the dropdown or menu will close it.
You can try disabling Hardware Mouse in the main menu game settings. Restart the game. See if that works any better.
What operating system are you using?
There is no reaction on mouse down. Once I release the button the menu open but is closed in less than a second. I dont press any buttons. Mouse cursor stay on the arrow.
Gonna try it next time and report back.
Windows 10.
