Hello everyone.

Unfortunately, I have to deliver bad news and take our popular iZi servers offline.

Currently, we're confronted daily with a jealous server administrator or a player who can't stand having players on our iZi servers.

Every day when the servers are busy, we get DDoS attacks. When players move to our backup servers, the attacker follows with his childish attacks.

We currently have a regular player base of around 80-100 players per day. We've gained popularity because we do our own thing and differentiate ourselves from other servers.

I've invested a lot of time in various things, but I don't have the funds for a server with level 7 DDoS protection.

The daily attacks at regular intervals make it very clear that this is an attack on iZi and our players.

I want to thank this jerk for ruining the game for so many players and hope he'll see himself as a true hero of our already small Quakelive community.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the players who have always enjoyed playing on our servers, and I hope they're also very grateful to our attacker for his childish behavior.
