Game Closing at Random Moments

I am running the game on Ubuntu. It works fine, except one thing: the game randomly exists. I don't know if this is a crash or something else. The game just closes. Does this happen to more people?

Sorry for necroing this topic, but this happens to me too, random game crashes out of nowhere.
I'm playing on Xubuntu 17.10 with an nvidia GTX1060, Driver version: 384.90.
Is anything known about this issue?

I've noticed Hover saves a log file in its config folder:
(~/.config/unity3d/FustyGame/Hover/Player.log), would it help if I included that here?

I did not find any timestamped crashlogs in the game's main folder, are they stored somewhere else on linux?
