Level Editor Features (DLC?)
There's alot of things which seem to be really badly missing from the level editor here, and, I think that these omissions are something which could be monetized.

The reason I say this is because of the successful precedent set by Super Mario Maker.

Nintendo never even considered making a Level Editor for Mario, until ROM hacks became so popular and attracted enough attention that someone at Nintendo took notice.

That being said, a large enough overhaul of Aragami's level editor could justify its own independent release, or a DLC.

Now, as far as the reasons Mario Maker is successful, one is that it retains the core gameplay of the original games. But the most important one is the variety of tools available and the different ways in which those tools can interact.

So, using the current Aragami Level Editor as a reference, this new editor would maintain the fundamental gameplay loop and mechanics, but would increase the toolbox and slightly change the way some of the already existing tools worked.

For instance, Light Orbs and Barriers, Light switches (or something like it), Traps, Enemy types, etc. could be added, and the interactions between these objects would provide the replayability and appeal.

I'm pretty sure I don't need to give an exhaustive list, because everybody has their own ideas about what should be in the editor. More variety and quantity of objectives would be nice. An example would be Listen to Conversation X between two people, or move an item from point A to point B.

An example of a new "enemy" type would be a pikeman, or a sorceror, or even a defenseless peasant who sounds the alarm if he runs away.

It's a serious undertaking, but, I think that the majority of the work has already been done, AND this would not require any additional concept, story, or voice work (with the possible exception of the odd new enemy).

And, because of the nature of the new release, there would be no level design needed either.

If the Netcode for Aragami is sufficient for the new editor, then multiplayer could be OK, however I actually don't think it's that important for the success of the new editor, and it could be left out because of how resource draining it is.

All that's left is 3D modelling, textures, animations, programming, sound design, and perhaps a new music score? And of course promotion and marketing. Anyway, I see potential, that's all I'm saying.

Also, it would be really nice if your could turn off the Shadow Kill ability in the editor.

pretty late here but: it would definately be nice to have some additional objects added to the level editor. main things being the light barriers and the explosive light mines. but also the ability to make use of the assets from say the mausoleum of the fallen and to stack simple objects to make more custom objects.
