if i buy the live2D plugin will it still work after support is being dropped?
so support for facerig is being dropped, but if i buy live2D before that will it still work even if support is not available?

Yes, FaceRig as a whole will still work indefinitely even after it is removed from the Steam store. You will still have it in your Library, you will be able to uninstall it and install it back again and every DLC that you have purchased for it (including Live2D's Module) will still work.

The DLCs will also be unavailable to purchase. The entire FaceRig catalogue, so to say, will be removed from the Steam store.
