Well, you can, but it may not work.

It should be illegal to stop a project (facerig) and then start up another project thats doing the exact same thing only making you pay a subscription. This is probably the worst practice I can think of and will inevitably lead to the downfall of the new company.

Are there any alternatives to this? I wish I had bought this, but I was waiting for it to go on sale r/patientgamers I had no idea this would happen. And I already bought Facerig fml

animaze, but i think thats for facecams only

Are you able to make your own avatars with the free version of animaze? I already have facerig so I'm not sure if I'll switch to animaze or not. I guess if the face tracking worked well I'd consider it (I just use lip sync for facerig due to how bad it is for that)

Oh, cool. Thanks for the link. I actually thought this forum was for their FaceRig Live2D Module DLC (which I wanted to buy) so my original post might have seemed kind of vague.

Probably is abbandonware, the latest version does not even launch for me..

Facerig still works for me unless something has changed in the past month or two

Its mostly that the driver they forced on us does not install on Proton.
