Is it possible to freeze the model on Face Tracker Initializing?
Sometimes the program will lose track of my face and start reinitializing the face tracker. When that happens, the model snaps back to its default expression and pose. Is there any sort of setting I could toggle to make it so that if the tracker loses my face, it stays in its last known position until it's all clear again?

For example, if I'm making an open-mouthed expression when suddenly my face can no longer be tracked, I want the model to remain open-mouthed while the tracker starts back up again, the same as if I pressed the "Disable Tracking" button.

Unfortunately, the avatar will always return to its idle state - which is a neutral position. If you'd have a 3D avatar with a different idle animation, then upon losing the tracking, the avatar would revert to its different idle animation.

I find this to be an issue. Is there an alternate solution? Is there already a setting of how long the program has to wait after losing track before saying "Yup, we lost track. Reset position and begin desperately looking for the face again"?

There isn't such an option or setting, no. Every time the tracker will lose the user, the avatar will quickly return to its idle state.
