Hi, we're evaluating this currently, as we do not yet have the cameras and haven't tested them.

I also now have the Realsense D435, everything I have found so far isn't working properly with FaceRig for this to work, it keeps requireing me to use the Depth Camera Manager, however for the D435, there is no depth camera manager as of yet. I assume since this topic was back from March of 2018, that some work on this has started but not finished. Is there any timelines as to when this would become useable?

Right now our engineering bandwidth is all taken up by other projects and so we can't say, at this moment, when we'll support it.

Do you know then, if I were to try and get another device such as another regular camera we can select which features to watch for hand and tongue movement? Since the realsense devices that it currently supports are no longer available?

With a regular web camera there's no possibility in tracking your tongue and hands. Only with the RealSense cameras that's possible. For hands there's the Leap Motion device which does a very good job in tracking your hands' movements.

Hello David & Facerig Team, I need to have a solution. I have the same issue like Nonie, win10 and realsense 435 cam with no support in the software facerig Studio. The newst win update on pc make a professional work with you supported RealSense’s F200 and SR300 unpossible. Therefore I brought the 435 and now I ´can't use it? Sorry but which cam i can use now on Intel HIgh End Laptop and Realsense 435 inkl SDK 2.0?

Aside from those two RealSense cameras (F200 and SR300), other ones are not supported yet. You can use any camera, of course, for the purpose of using FaceRig with the face tracker; however, as I said, right now D435 is not supported.

I'm on the same boat now, got the D435 and hoped to have it supported. Can you please consider to add support for that device? I will buy all DLC if this device get supported!

Right now we're working on a platform-agnostic SDK that will allow any developer to integrate FaceRig-powered avatar interaction in their apps, games and the likes. This endeavor is, currently, taking up all of our engineering bandwidth, and we can't give any estimates about other things.

I don't think so... FaceRig is abandoned soon now. Shame.

Yeah I saw that, they are working on Animaze. Just after I ask xD

can't wait for a source code leak, it's so jittery with the rgb cam that vseeface is just far more stable.
