Have the same bug with he second tutorial. Got the X button to work when I switched resolution from 3440x1440 to 2560x1440.

Quick load, save the game, close the game, load it back up and you should be ok. Gotta do this with every tutorial tho

Share your system specifications, double-check that your GPU drivers and Visual C++ are up-to-date (that's the case for 99% of problems with the black screen on animations so far),

I am stuck in the second tutorial after Daisy as well. Unable to exit.
Reloading did not work.
Changing resolution did work.
I am playing in 3440x1440, changed to 2560x1440 as above.
Just adding in if it helps.

3440x1440 I swap resolutions to fix it temporarily it happened with the tutorial and whenever I go into the shops.

The problem is definitely tied to resolution and full screen.

I was getting the "unclickable X" all the time on many screens. While my monitor is 2560x1080 - I have changed the resolution to 1920x1080 (just standard 16x9) so the game was running with black strips on sides but it removed the problem completely and did not face it once.
I guess that changing the view to "window" would fix that as well.
