I completed all the rooms on both the left and right side of the area to remove the lava. The last room I completed was the one in the bottom right corner and as soon as I dropped the rock down to plug the lava, the camera panned over to the bottom left pool of lava in the main room which is supposed to disappear so that I can progress through the game. However, the lava is still there which prevents me from finishing the game. I read that in that area there is a door that unlocks once you kill all the creatures down there and I noticed if I hover close enough to the lava I get exp orbs dropped from killed creatures. This makes me think that the area should be clear of lava if the game is spawning creatures. Any advice on how to fix my issue would be appreciated.

P.S. I tried going back to my last autosave, but it was after I already cleared the last room of lava.
