Anyway, what you are probably seeing is a problem I often have with my DS4 controller in some games. Often, the PC's audio output will switch to the controller (it has a headphone jack facing you). Plug your headphones into your controller and the sound should be coming out.
I switched to playing HLD with an XBox One S controller to avoid problems with the DS4 controller.
