Is it confirmed? I can't launch the game indeed, and I own M2

I was having this problem as well. The solution seems to be to add `+fullscreen 0` in the launch options. I'm running a M1 Max & Ventura 13.5 and this worked.

Thanks for the advice, and sorry to ask that but what exactly do you mean? I have tried what you said and it doesn't work for me, so maybe I'm doing it wrong...

to set launch options, open Steam app and select your game. Next right click on it and select properties and next general. then scroll down to the bottom where you see an empty field where advanced users can set startup options. In this field you put above command.
If it still doesn't work, try -fullscreen instead to have it automatically in full screen mode.

Thanks a lot for your message, but after trying a bunch of commands it still doesn't work for me (on a Mac mini M1 16go).

Beside setting launch options, you might consider in addition to start game in legacy version either legacyOSX or legacyPre2017. good luck.

I´m on a MacBook Pro 14 2022 M1 and when I try to run the game I just get a window whit a speech bubble with an exclamation mark inside and the yes or no buttons, doesn't matter what I press, it shows me the "Talos_Unrestricted closed unexpectedly" and the game won´t ever open
any help? and if it´s in Spanish so much better :)

This worked for me! I'm running the game on my Mac Mini Apple M1 MacOs Sonoma.
It'll execute the game in a small window where you can just "cmd+F" to full screen it.

There's a solution which involves creating/editing the Talos.ini file. It worked on my M2 running Sonoma.

`+fullscreen 0` worked for me on M4 (sequoia). thanks.
