I can't switch to Christine.

So I'm in the hospital, I have not gotten the book for the Birdman, and the game won't let me switch characters to Christine. I've been walking around like a moron for 30 minutes and nothing changes, I talk to the chaplain, wander around the ward, but still no, I'm stuck with Joe. Am I missing something or is this a dead end?

Welp, seeing as there are super old topics with the same issue and not a sign of a reply or fix from the devs, I gues it actually is a dead end then. That's fantastic. Don't do every single thing in the 100% correct order a few hours in, and you will not be able to finish the game at all. Thank God I got this on sale since I can't ask for a refund with 4 hours played.

Yeah I ran into this too, you gotta reload an old save or.... start over

Unfortunately not. I ended up uninstalling, couldn't be bothered to replay.

Yep, it is really unfortunate. A true dead end. The game shouldn't let you open the safe before tying all loose ends, or Christine could just be available at any time.

I was playing full Christine, so now I have to reload and play all of Joe's parts again. Tremendous fun. 😒

I have a save file that i can give you guys-picks up the game where you are, but done the way the developer expected -- if you could just tell me how to do it
