Can't get started

Big fan of Daedalic games so far, but i'm unable to start this one at all. unable to get out of the cell in the beginning. Game continually becomes unresponsive to any input. not sure what is causing this. the furthest i've gotten is getting in line outside the cell... the game then stops responding , though the game still works animations and audio continue, though unable to interact with the game.

I'm having problems too, when I'm standing outside the cell I get stuck in a conversation unable to choose any dialogue options or exit

What OS are you having this issue on guys?

I'm on OS X Sierra v10.12 and that's exactly the same issue I have - standing outside the cell, clicked on Hank, got 4 conversation options and none of them is clickable, also there is no way to cancel or make any other action, although the sounds and background animations work, just 100% stuck.

So seems like it's not related to OS, but maybe hardware. I really hope this will be fixed as currently game is unplayable for me.

OS Sierra 10.12. here.

Since a security update happened I can't get this started at all. The game game icon opens in the dock, then crashes immediately.

When it is running it is like treacle. So slow.

I see this is old post, but I hear you can just reduce resolution in game and it helps a lot.

I have Windows 10 and it works without a problem, but the achievments don't work :/

I had the same problems on my ultrawide monitor. Dropping to 1920x1080 fixed it. Also, make sure that you have actually done things that you need to do. Once all is complete, you have to exit manually.
