Game Crashes When Loading Levels
I only seem to run into this after beating a level, finishing the cut scene (story, whatever) then start the next level. I get this message:

CD3DRenderer::SetLightMapTexture: Invalid data

Running it on an MSI Megabook (model),
Windows 7 64bit pro (not yet activated)
Intel Core i7-4900MQ CPU @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs)
16GB RAM
GForce GTX 970M

Same Problem, slightly different message:

CD3DRenderer::SetLightMapTexture: Out of memory

Just beat that Robot, loading Screen appeared and.....gone :(

Running on Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core i5-4200M @ 2.5GHz
8 GB RAM
GForce GT 740M (2 GB)

Edit: Seems there are a couple of errors that cause the same problem. Just ended a level, this time I got this:

CD3DRenderer::LoadTexture: Failed to load texture, pulsar.png! Out of memory

I experience this issue. The error messages vary, and include the same ones mentioned above.

My system:
Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50 GHz (4 CPUs)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT630M 2 GB VRAM
15.6" 1366x768 HD LED LCD screen
750 GB HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Although the game crashes, save games are not unaffected: After the crash, I relaunch the game, load the level, and can continue normally from where I left off.

I had hopes that the last update changed something, cause I really like the game, but it still is crashing after each level. This time i got this message : CD3DRenderer::LoadTexture: Failed to load texture, oculus_body_bloom.png! Out of memory

And yeah, i just have to launch the game and select the autosave to continue, but it breaks the mood !

So, you're able to load a level, but then after beating it and going on to the next one, it always crashes?

That's it :P The game runs flawlessly but it crashes nearly everytime after I finish a level. It shows the stats and the score, then it crashes, and when I launch the game again, I can continue my progression.

Hm, strange. I wonder why this only happens for certain people and not for others. How much RAM/video RAM do you have, Arkabed?

This time, the error message was the following : CD3DRenderer::LoadTexture: Failed to load texture, extralife.png! Out of memory

I have 4Go RAM and 1Go video RAM, playing on a laptop.

EDIT : It looks like everyone here posted specs of laptops, that might be something to explore..

The laptop explains why people are running of memory. The real issue though is why they're only running out of memory the second time a level loads, and not the first. I tracked down a VRAM measuring program and it looks like the first time you load a level, it uses a certain amount of VRAM (let's say, 300MB) and then every time you load the level after than it uses MORE VRAM (let's say, 400MB) for some unknown reason. If there was a memory leak of some sort, I would expect the VRAM usage to continue to goes up, but it's exactly the same the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. load.

Tracking this down.

Yep, happens on my laptop as well ever since Wrack was officially released. Did anything change to the level loading algorithm then?

Can somebody with an AMD card try this out? I'm noticing these are all Nvidia laptop cards. I notice the same issue happening on my Geforce desktop card, but it has enough memory that it doesn't crash on the 2nd load.
