Patrolling
Looking though the code for the enemy monsters, it shows there is a state for patrolling. I haven't seen this implemented in the game yet so is this actually a functional behaviour?

Haven't tried to do anything using this recently so it may have broken, but to my knowledge it fully works. Just have to set it up in the open script.

lol. Haven't tried anything out in the map script editor. So that makes sense.
I also can't find any documentation on how to instantiate a patrol point and assign it to a monster. Tips?

Yup. Still works. Had to change Zombo into a Crawler because the map wouldn't start without a separate .txt that added a Patrol state to Zombo.
