Don't subscribe to it, and you'll never know it's there if you don't click it. It's not anyone else's problem but your own that you lack impulse control.
impulse control??? When you come to General Discussion and every thread is a rant about the same thing, who should be using impulse control exactly? That's why we need a rant section. For those people that feel the need to start a new post, even though there are 30 already started on the same subject.
The people making multiple threads about the same thing, also lack impulse control, and are also too stupid to use the search function. I lack impulse control, too. When I see stupidity, I call it out. Not just on steam forums either.
They're also not going to do extra clicks to go post their complaint in a place designed to get their complaint out of prominent view. Making the general forum population see their shining pixels of insight and originality is the whole point of posting rants and complaints.
Examples of disrespectful content include:
- Insults or harassment
- Threats or encouragement of harm
- Trolling or baiting arguments
- Discrimination
- Bypassing word or content filters
- Public accusations towards others
