So there has been a lot of negative discourse lately about 2.0 --This is not that. This topic aims to gather the community as a collective and share mods that we have enjoyed to play 7DTD with.

Feel free to add/post with your own mod preferences you've tried or actively use, a short summary of what it does. :)

Note: Several of these do re-add older functions from prior updates. Otherwise they're just the fun one I've used (or currently using)

Working Workstation Spawns -- Approx. 1/5 chance that world workstations will be functional. Similar to A19 and prior.

Empty Glass Jars V2.0 -- Adds back Empty Glass Jars. There are a few out there, but this is the one I've used so I'll recommend it due to preference.

Wastelands badge removes all loot caps -- I use this when I play, simply so that once I reach the Wasteland it goes into a more fully unlocked Sandbox-mode for lootcap. However, I also swap between that and a generic lootcap-unlocker that makes loot act similar to pre-2.0.

SDS Biome Survival Mods -- Armor mods that function like Biome Badges. Also negates Storm-Damage. Just adds a little bit of freedom over the Biome/Storm systems in place so you're not fully restricted to Biome-Achievements to unlock the next are, but also lets you ignore Storms if you have it so they're not a player-pause-timer.

IZY-AIO Weapons Pack V5 -- As of writing this, isn't updated with Melee weapons yet and a few minor hiccups to be updated out. But I absolutely play with IZY's AIO weapons. Adds several new weapons and an additional higher-tier of weapons for late-stage play.

OCB Claim Auto Repair Block (V2.0) -- I use this because I sometimes get tired of the tedium of hunting for damaged blocks so things don't come crashing down. Isn't always the fastest to get to a particular block but it's handy regardless.

Trader Quest Preview -- For me this is a MUST. Let's you see where the quest is for before you take it. Has 2 versions, one is like vanilla with the preview, the other overhauls the quest vendor UI. Both are nice.

(TMO) Trader Never Closes N More -- Basically I use this for the trader hours. I hate having to wait until morning. Includes a few tweaks for PC-Vendor costs and restock days which I set to 1 for everyday random shops.

LOTF's More Skill Points V2.0 -- Comes in multiple versions. I like to use 3-Points Per Level on a 300% XP world for a less grindy playthrough.

(TMO) Zombies Cant Dig x ServerSide Friendly -- ABSOLUTE MUST for me. Let's me build my bedrock bases again if I want to. Let's me build underground traps without random diggers. Makes zombies more like zombies and not engineers.

Better Biome Storms -- Currently a MUST for me. Makes the storms more of a nuisance debuff instead of a DoT-ticker. Reduces every aspect of actions by some 15%-ish. Jump, Run, etc.

Oldtimer's More Loot Bags V2.0 -- Adjustable modifier for what % chance Loot Bags will drop. I use 10% but theoretically you could make every zombie drop a bag at 100%.

(TMO) Better Blade Traps -- For me this is another absolute MUST. I customized so that blades are vanilla, except with VASTLY boosted durability. Maybe they can survive a horde night with fewer repairs, eh?

Horde Night Activator (V1.0 and up) -- This is perfect if you play with friends but they maybe offline sometimes or maybe you want to do Horde Night with them? Activate the Horde while they're online.... or just play solo and run a horde 9 days in a row for loot lol.

Disclaimer: This isn't fully tested to 2.0 yet, the Author is open to feedback to fix/update if necessary. Theoretically it should work just fine though.

I mainly use QOL mods.

My own personal customised stack mod.

60 slot backpack

Personal better ui food + water bars, with player level + xp

More mod slots (per tier + slots, customisable) eg tier 1 weapon / 1 slot, tier 6 weapon / 6 slots

No restriction Attributes mods. Can use Attributes mods with treasure hunter.

Then QOL xml - 2 points per level, adjusted vehicle speeds (balanced not OP), spotlight placement anywhere, chance for solar panels from wild solar banks.
