I say sadly due to the fact you have to wait until you have the specific items for the order to sell them.
Honestly a change they need is a WildCard order that is always available where you could sell anything to free up warehouse space at a lower payment. Where the "customer" would accept anything you put in the van but the payment you get would be slightly less then if the order was made for specific items.
They could put way that you can put sales in the warehouse for the day to sell lots of stuff or just have sale on the end of the week.
Because warehouse really gets stuffed easily...
This is what you have to do:
- Memorize the items you have in your warehouse.
- Go to Computer
- Go to Orders
- Find an order that happens to ask for the things you have in stock (randomly generated, you just have to hope).
- Accept the Order
- A moving van will appear, put the items for the Order in the moving van (it looks different from the ones that you own).
The order system does tell you what you have in stock. It even highlights the line item in blue. There are a few exceptions like small window which always says you don't have any.
You are always guaranteed three orders every day which have items that you currently have stored in your warehouse (but it won't count anything stored in any vans/trucks).
Honestly a market would be great. Someone else has mentioned an "open" contract all the time to thin out stuff.
> 3 shelves each of common, rare, and premium furnitures
> 30 pallets each of common, rare, and premium large furnitures
> 6 wood shelves that allocates 2 each for wooden beams sizes
> 6 additional wooden shelves for planks
> 4 shelves for brick pallets
> 2 shelves for small item boxes
> 5 window shelves, 2 for both large and medium, 1 for small
> 4 wall shelves

I see four orders that you can fulfill? The only one I would fulfill would be the Quality Client, and I would also stuff an additional 10 large windows into that order and maybe both premium bookshelves.
Is that the mechanic the dev wanted? The warehouse is for Premium stuff as you move through the game. You upgrade everything else (except the hammer and garbage bag?), why not the quality of what you sell?
Orders is still broken but this method is working for me so.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My vote is still for a market or "ebay" tab beside the orders screen. And a challenge, like a couple of racks worth of 'whatever' for some big project.
