I completely agree that the Demo is bad. I also couldn't complete it... but have now played through every contract in the game at least twice and look forward to DLCs. Hopefully they plan to update the Demo soon to the current version of the game.
That said, if you don't mind the buying/refunding rigamarole, the actual in-game tutorial is basically the same as what they Demo allows, but with the actual game mechanics and current bug fixes. You could buy the game, play just the tutorial mission(s) as though they had updated the Demo, and refund if it doesn't pique your interest.
And people definitely use it to judge the game, it's what the demo exists for. I think this is the same thing you're saying.
You say that like everyone shoudl know this; the game literally tells you to right-click/has the right click button highlighted as what to click.
i have not played the tutorial, i bought the game, but in the game there are other things you need to load following the tutorial before you close the van in the tut. there is the washing machine and the book case. does it have you load the book case?
