Collecting items is a waste of time.
1. Payment for contracts and waste disposal generates income immediately.
2. The time spent on dismantling furniture, loading, unloading, and completing orders is disproportionate to the payment.
3. You can complete 2 dismantling contracts per game shift. There are 4-6 contracts in 1 hour of real time without collecting items.
4. If you collect items and building materials during the execution of contracts, you will get: 3-4 boxes with small items, 10+ pieces of furniture and 40+ building materials.
5. On a game day, you can implement 2-3 contracts for the delivery of items, totaling up to 10 pieces. This leads to overfilling of the warehouse and accumulation of illiquid.

An example of starting a game without collecting items, only demolishing buildings (the first 10 contracts)

Same here.

Towards the end of the game, selling vans of that stuff to the best customers was getting me a large portion of my income.

And I was still filling the rest of the van with trash for rich houses, and all of it from cheap houses.

And I was using the default van for contracts.

If you collect *everything*, I'm sure it's awful. But if you're selective, it can be quite good.
