Also, currently there is no way to remove the restriction or change any of the settings from the 2 options they give you to better suit your play style. I did put it in the suggestions and seen someone make a thread about it. All they said it that they would maybe think about making it so you could change them independently after the tutorial, but was not certain they would. They also mentioned maybe if there was a big enough interest they may look into it. So, maybe post in the suggestions and they may do it if there are enough people asking for it.
Unfortunately, only after playing for a while did I realize that the time limit prevents me from relaxing and indulging in meditative destruction. Even if there's no penalty, I still automatically remember it and start rushing. I didn't select this option because many games give me plenty of time to get everything done. So I always try playing on the default configuration first before removing the restrictions.
