I want to like this game. I had planned to buy it. But had to do the demo first and now find that I cannot invest even this low price in a game that is this clunky and broken. I tried 4 times to run the demo and never once managed to leave the job and go home. 1st attempt.. Game locked up about half way through demo and had to reboot and start over.. 2nd try fetched brick skid to put in house and no matter where I placed it, it kept telling me to go get it. Shut down and try again. 3rd try... Found out that you have to place the skid in one tiny special spot in kitchen. Naturally it does not tell you where to put it. Just lets you waste time trying to find the spot. Fill the skid and realize I got alot of extra bricks. Tried to go get another skid. Nope. Wont let me. Finish the job and load all the stuff into van including all the undamaged boards and bricks. Left small items in place since was never told to load it anywhere. Won't let me leave. Apparently if you are a safe worker and manage to not destroy all the bricks and boards you are not allowed to keep them. So I unloaded and then loaded only the items that it said I could take. Still wont let me leave. 4th run... All the way through.. boring as heck by this point. Get finished and then make sure all the excess on the floor is broken and loaded into garbage bags. And... oh goodie I now have 3 bags of trash and it will only let me take 1. But it won't let me leave them in the house either. Sorry.. Fix this thing and maybe I will buy it. But not like this.

Maybe try to restart your game? I don't know if that is a bug that will be fixed soon .. but it sounds like a bug ..

this is a rare bug. You don't know if you will get it. We are playing this game and we never encountered this bug :D .. if you are more excited about demolishing and breaking stuff around .. get this game :P

I restarted the game and made sure to put down some drywall before putting the boards in and it prevented one of the pieces of wood from phasing into the van floor. like a day later there was a patch that was supposed to have fixed that issue and I've not run into it ever again.

I have this issue right now 1st play through. Apparently theres 2 somethings in the floor of the van. No idea what they are. placed probably 10 drywalls down 1st and everything on top of them. Found 2 boards halfway down the stack of 10 drywalls. But theres still something else
