This is is still happening for me. I have a dell laptop with Nvidia Geforce GT740M. The game flashes a black screen then shows a dialog "Completing installation 1%" then shows an error "Error completing installation: error 41".

Game is fine mostly but for two issues:

1. It won't shut down properly and I have to ALT+f4 to do so without crashing the computer.

2. Once a level started with everything coloured red. =x

Ditto. I know that trying to quit will crash my PC but I forget to Alt+F4 out every time.

Had trouble starting the game.

I got it to run with my computer's integrated graphics.

After about 2 months of the game not starting up, I decided to try out the game again. It has finally worked for me. Hope it is working for others.
Gtx 1070, Windows 10.
