A stdandard question would be -- did you disable Steam's controller support? Game worked fine for me, and I doubt they had any major updates since then -- but Steam didn't have controller support like it does now, and a real XBox controller doesn't need an XBox controller emulation anyway...

I had disabled it,but later I found out my Xpadder program was running in the background!
