Container Drops (Unknown Signals) Keep turning off in server settings
I have an EOS crossplay server hosted through GTX and here lately, I have been trying to get unknown signals to start spawning again. I went into the sandbox files and found that the container drop option was set to false. So I set it to true and restarted the server. After a while, I noticed they were still not spawning, so I went back and checks and they were set to false again. I tried again, this time double checking and it dod the same thing as soon as the server was up and running. I have had issues in the past with them not spawning, but usually a restart fixes it. I even tried changing machines and starting a new save and it still wont stay on. Is this normal for EOS crossplay servers or is there something wrong here that I am missing? I have combed through the sandbox file and can find nothing that I would think could effect this setting. I have even changed the setting in the SpaceEngineers Dedicated file and nothing seems to help

Hi, keep in mind Unknown Signals are limited per day/week so they will stop if players keeps collecting them non stop and they have to wait for auto reset.

But you may try to change it manually in the save files, here is a very old Bug Report where players are showing the code line to edit so change -> false to true :

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for my late reply. I ended up shutting down the server due to financial reasons. The problem wasn't that the containers weren't spawning, it was that the setting in the file was getting turned off every time I started up the server. I do No that there is a limit to how many containers you can activate per day as I had reported a possible exploit involving them being duplicated and flooding the market with skins. When I am able to afford to do so, I do play on starting the modded server back up. It is possible 1 of the mods was disabling it, though I'm unsure whether or not I tested without mods on

Strange thing can happen when we modify the save files with Mods and surely give more troubleshooting time than playing Vanilla default settings.
