What mods do you have loaded? They can effect gameplay greatly as some are outdated or broken.
Mods I have loaded include:
Realistic space suits
Shielded vehicles
Stars improvement mod
Time to sleep
Tripping fix
Visual realism pack
and Watney's dome pack
Ok. Now comes the fun part... Turn off all the mods you have running and try the manned scenarios again. Are you still getting the odd editor with the character t-posing? If not, you'll need to then enable each mod one-by-one until you get the editor with the t-posing to show up.
You can then determine which mod is causing the issue. With them active and altogether this isn't quite possible. I could check them for you and get back to you with which one is causing the issue but it might take me some time.
You might also be able to determine which one is causing an issue by checking your error.log or console.log files located here:
<Drive Letter>:\Steam\userdata\<Your Steam ID>\244030\local
or
Default steam install location inside Program Files (Program Files(x86) / steam...)
-----------------------
It's been awhile but if I were to take a guess I think the Visual Realism Pack was outdated and needs disabled. I couldn't say for sure unless I checked each one separate as I mentioned above.
