Cockpit View Problem
I'm pretty new to this game. I've noticed that apparently most aircraft don't have cockpit views yet. For some reason, whenever I select cockpit view, I get a sort of "cinematic camera" viewpoint instead of a cockpit or even plain HUD view. Is this a sign that the aircraft I'm using doesn't have a pit model yet, or is this a bug or error on my part?

no,it is not an error. most of the planes,do not really have a cockpit view as of yet. TS is working on it...

I get this problem too.
Apparently some F-16s have the cockpit (there were screenshots posted on Moddb).
There are F-16 cockpit texture and corresponding name mesh file in the game files directory. These files also exists for another fictional aircraft in the game, but I haven't been able to get cockpit view on any of those aircrafts :(

Time to necro this topic. How to enable cockpit view for the few AC that have their corresponding meshes? This game is a mess compared to that other superior game btw.
