try using galleys. they have a great view radius and a lot more moves / turn than an explorer

I landed near the north west loan of the map, nice land, no enemy’s, problem? Mountains separating the map in basicly half, I found a route that takes 60 turns, mixture of going around the whole land And going pass 1 tile narrow of free space between the ocean and the mountains. This could be a amazing game if they just tweaked it more, make it more hardcore, change the size behavior, give us some cheat menu and I’d be all that, with the side dish of diplomacy
