The upper left "Clans" button will show everyone that is inside the settlement, but I haven't found anything that includes "Active" Clans.

I know about the "Clans" button. That's button doesn't make any sense. It would be better to have that button actually show all clans and simply do a double click on your settlement to show all clans inside.

As far as I know there is no 'menu' for all the clans. You will how to go trough them manually at the moment. I recommend using the noting systems (F12 menu, right clicking ground or the clan cards).

You can use colour coding for different topics. If you have more questions on noting, well, I can find some time to tell the way I use the notes. Clayffo might have some insight on this as well.

I'll get more aggressive about notes/labeling and see if that improves my ability to track clans, thanks
