Barbarian shadowing my gatherer
So a barbarian attacked my gatherer and now I can't seem to move it away. Every turn it's expended its move points. I guess the barbarian is slowly trying to kill it.

Can I move another fighting unit on top to deal with this or is it a lost cause?

The barb stole your gatherer. If you go kill the barb, you should get the gatherer back. Might require getting the camp though.

Ah thanks didn't realize that could happen. Time to train up a military unit then.

Sometimes you will find your captured workers alone in the camps.

I like to think that the poor bandits didn't manage to gather supplies for the winter and starved/froze/whatever. What is quite funny that 'your' workers don't seem to be in a hurry to get back to gathering for your tribe...

To be fair, if you occupy a "neutral" building then leave it, the clans that are left there seem to have no problem working for you. Bandits just seem to operate like another faction.
