They would start off with strong military forces but their resupply would weaken over time.
The player would need to choose whether to ally or war with Rome and a subsequent set of diplomatic options would become available as you interact with other civs
Unfortunately most of this did not occur so that’s where we’re at
Yea but even in their death throws of a dying empire the Romans made a last ditch defense against Atilla who was attacking their Empire....they put up quite a fight and it actually WASNT Atilla who first sacked Rome......they held him off.
Yea i like they dont build more Roman units cuz the game is about the end of Rome and the rise of Medieval Kingdoms
Still....IMO once you declared a kingdom, you should be able to absorb a fellow barbarian Empire.....NOT romans cuz they are for killing :D
I doubt Jon will incorporate that idea either but it would be nice......As you mentioned earlier Rome doesnt follow a true AI...just attack scripts. To make a better game IMO it would be easy to make a script, of Roman units, that defend the homeland, once you enter the Roman city area with your troops, rather then just Romans throw everything at you early and thats it game over :/
