I hope so. I think achievements ad a kind of meta layer to the game that provides valuable visibility to non-players.

That and, you know, they're fun!

For Unity games it's very much trivial to install the necessary middleware. Since your engine also looks "C-sharp-y" https://steamworks.github.io/ or https://github.com/Facepunch/Facepunch.Steamworks might just work?

I’ll be happy if the game is finished. Achievements should not even be a discussion at this point
