Official Contagion Servers & Changes
I've read a lot of issues with the public servers and decided to ask the devs for permission to do something about it and I finally got the permission to do this and to pin this thread.

The following changes have been made:
- Turned off Friendly Fire on hard & extreme coop gamemodes. [No more TKs]
- Fixed 2 offline California & UK Servers.
- Renamed 12 servers with standard Gameserver names back to original.
- Checked and enabled on every server VAC and restart modes.
- Changed back to extreme Difficulty on TX Server (EXTREME) #2 & #5.
- Changed back to hard difficulty on TX Server (HARD) #5.
- Implemented new Server System and updated missing maps on all Servers
- Increased 4 slots Flatline Servers to 8
- Reduced mp_roundlimit to 4 instead of 8 on servers with coop gamemodes to speed up the map change

New Server changes
There are 5 - 15 Servers for each timezone and I'm gonna maximize the diversity of the content which this game has to offer by reorganizing the gamemodes/mapcycle of the official servers with the following system:

15 Server System on New York, California & Texas Servers (Complete)
1xCPC | 1xCPO | 1xCH
CF Normal-Hard
CX Normal-Extreme
CE Normal-Extreme
CE Normal-Extreme + No Player Zombie
Main Gamemodes Easy

10 Server System on United Kingdom (Complete)
1xCPC & CPO | 1xCH | 1x CF
CX Normal-Extreme
CE Normal-Extreme
Main Gamemodes Easy

5 Server System on Australien Servers (Complete)
1xCPC & CPO | 1xCH | 1xCF | 1xCX | 1xCE - All with normal difficulty

All UK server are down since 15.07.2017 because of an outtage the support team reinstalled the servers, but with outdated files. I have redirected this issue to the devs, but I guess they are too busy :/

Please, don't go off topic like that :P I'm also very sad with the lack of updates and the direction this game goes. I'm just trying to offer you all a better experience with this changes.

Hey, are you now taking care of Contagion's official servers?
Also, do you have any other useful information about the future of this game?

ccl...if not for you this game would have died a long time ago...you and you alone are the soul reason this game lives on and i just wanna say thank you for all your hard work...if at any time you need any finacial support dont take a second thought to ask me and i will help out....again many thanks for your hard work.

is it possible to install sourcemod so the server can cycle map and kick players via plugin?

Changed, reorganized and updated every 60 Servers! That was quite some work, but I already see people playing on extreme & hard servers which is worth it. Enjoy!

Does that mean we can't choose to have friendly fire on does this mean it will stay off? I did like the idea of that since it, because it made it realistic to have people watch their fire and see the good team work that goes on I think with it off I feel the effort in trying won't be ask good also as this soves the troll peoblem they can still just die by zombies. I am glad that you changed this but a bit sad as it won't be the same.

I'm all in for realism, but the chance of having a good team instead of tkers and trolls is incredible low on public servers. Friendly fire is only off on the official servers because of teamkillers making it literally unplayable.

You can always play on community servers if you want friendly fire.
If you don't like trolls dying on purpose so they can kill you later as Playerzombie then try out the none Playerzombie servers.

I don't have a problem with team killers or trolls I just laugh at there stupidity I play for the amazing community that you get.The the amount of times I have made friends and chats in that game is surprising. I was just wondering if it gone for good as I do like it friendly fire on, But I do see everyones point that it is stupid/annoying it's just so unessary. I also would of loved to see how far this game would of gotten it is very upsetting to see that you all had to let it go.

It's the same for me too. I've made a lot of friends only in this game. Don't count me as dev though, I'm just a community member and I'm still working on more content for this game.
