Next patch/update announce?
When should we expect next patch/update? I cant find any information about it/ Where a few month ago since previous. The game really deserves to live and develop.

P.S. Thanks a lot to Dev for this experience!

If you have discord that is where more I fo is posted than on here.

Somewhere on the forum Bery has promised to have regular smaller updates after the previous big one. I think he said something around once every 2 months. But we have not received any other news or announcements about it on Steam so far. If you are interested, you could join their Discord, which is their main communication method and you might get a response from staff or an announcement there in a more timely manner.

No news over there neither.....Just a bunch of people telling each other good morning in the chat cause there is nothing new about the game to talk about.

discord is what they use so they don't have to talk to anyone. Nothing here and nothing there. They get people to talk to each other and no information gets talked about to death. There is no effort involved in making announcements both there and here but here there is no chat so we can't feed off each other. I call it bull crap.

Its interesting, other steam game discussions for several other games i am apart of have lots of dev involvement. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of interest and involvement shown by this dev team. They are clearly sub par.

This game has just one main dev. He can either manage the company and write code, or he can sit on social media and chat with you. Many other companies, even indie, are a lot larger than this one, which only employs 8 or 9 people on staff. I also would like more communication, but sometimes there just isn't anything to write other than "we are working on it" and that will get very old very quickly.

Well, exactly how much time would it take a dev, or anyone on their staff to type a sentence like
"Thank you for your interest. We currently look forward to a new patch release next month (or whenever)"? My typing skills really suck but I could type this out in under a minute.

For those of us who paid money for this game it does give us some right to expect just a little sharing of communication from the dev(s) about the games we are tying to enjoy. Just because it has a "under development" label does not excuse a lack of communication. From June to July of this year there were about 10 new patches/hotfixes showing a real commitment from the dev(s) to fix problems and increase player satisfaction with their game, but since July, nothing but silence? New bugs have made the game absolutely unplayable being more frustrating than enjoyable but still, nothing but silence. No acknowledgement of issues or any assurance that they are striving to fix them.

You may say, "just go to another game", but we didn't pay money for a game to be ignored, left out in the cold, and then to be told "just go to another game".

It's a pattern at this point. During the initial release last December there were also many patches and a lot of communication happening for about a month, maybe a bit more. Then silence. Well, there were a few broken deadlines in the middle too.

It's not like anyone wants less communication, but the point here is not that they are releasing something without communicating anything, it's they themselves don't know when the release is going to happen. This year Bery promised or estimated 2 deadlines that he completely blew past, which caused a ton of posts from people saying the game is abandoned, a cash grab and a ton of negative reviews. Then the patch happened and there was another ton of negative reviews because EA game has bugs! Who would've thought!?

Also, it is against the rules of Steam TOS for EA games to make some specific promises about game's features or release deadlines. It is also obvious that this small studio cannot, for one reason or another, currently make regular releases. It would cause another wave of "cashgrab abandoned game" and negative reviews if Bery just keeps posting "we are looking forward to the next release who knows when" or misses deadlines again.

And you are forgetting that you are not alone on the forum and on the discord. It also doesn't just "take a minute" to respond to social media. You have to stop your work and be constantly interrupted. It's a massive distraction. When there is something to announce, we all get the announcement.

Just accept that this game studio is not good at communicating and wait for the announcements. They seem to working properly on the game, so you will get your updates eventually. Perhaps at the anniversary of the game's initial release in December.

Yep, no other option at this time ...

Two of the games i am referring to are one creator so I cant agree, also it take no time at all to answer most of our simple questions and is in fact imho an imperative. To suggest 5 minutes a day will impact game progress is a stupidity.

If you want actual discussion, you need to provide names of the games at the very least. And second, it's not 5 minutes a day, unless all you do is post some announcement every day without any actual engagement.

I am not going into a discussion re games, my point is a good developer large or small is foolish if he neglects the very community he relies upon for flow on sales and future take up of his next game . Even 10 minutes is a wise investment. If you cant see that then that's fine, we can agree to disagree. My receint experiences has been heavy dev involvement and an informed and grateful community. UNPOC is one excellent example single dev.

EA games have a dry period that seems to always happen. EA is pretty bad for developers IMO. They come into the thing with a game plan but subject themselves to what I like to call people. They follow their plan initially and then people start going on about what they want in the game and what they better see soon "or you guys are goin down man" Then they start putting out updates for what people want and then they come to this point where they feel like they need something big or the whole thing will fail and we end up with a dry period because they are trying to do a big thing instead of all the little things they planned. Unfortunately this is also the period where a scam will be shown. EA is an opinion orgy and nothing good happens when people are involved. In my humble we should go back to focus groups and a discussion group should have a moderator who tells you lies to keep you coming back with just a tiny shred of info and the devs can do their thing.

Nice discussion but nobody is expecting Dev to sit here all time and chat with us.
Simple official information that for example update is delayed becayse of xxx or yyy would be great.
5-10min to write per month is not a big thing and it helps to create a good reputation for game = more people buying your EA game.
Write that in 1-2month you are bringing new big update and if you cannot also write about it and reason.
Otherwise people will think is scam and it is reasonable.
There is a lot of EA games where people are happy and wait for update because they are informed.
EA game are supposed to be done together with players yet nowdays a lot of small studios just use this as excuse to get money ...
That is why i stopped buying and wait because i realised i have too much good potential games in EA ...

It always boggles my mind when developers hide information behind Discord groups. There's a news tab here on Steam they could be using, but they expect us to either just sit in the dark and assume the update is eons away, or hunt a link down to their little group and join it and sift through it all just to find out if there's anything ongoing. Seems counterintuitive to hide information that would greatly benefit their sales like that. Just weird..
