Is TruckersMP safe?
I was watching Jeff Favignano play ATS with multiplayer and turns out there is a mod you can download that lets you play with the other people on ETS 2/ATS. I was wondering if it safe because I went on VirusTotal and it said 1/56 detection ratio, the anti-virus that detected it was called "Rising", I have no clue what it is, but this popped up.

Antivirus/Result/Update
Rising Malware.Generic!VgxfUsr3VPI@2 (Thunder) 20160605

Thats the only detection I got out of 56 other anti-viruses, and all the popular powerful anti-viruses like Kaspersky, AVG, Avast, Bitdefender, Avira, etc. all detected nothing, what the heck.

Should I be worried or is it a false positive.
Please tell me because I downloaded it and lots of people use it even my favourite popular youtuber, Jeff Favignano.

Yes, it's a Multiplayer mod used by thousands of players. Even the developer of the mod was employed by SCS Software to work for them. If you are downloading it from the official source then you got nothing to worry about.

Then why does Virus Total sometimes gives me a detection ratio of 1/56 or 3/56 and those antiviruses that detect them are not really known/popular.

Up to you if you don't want to trust it. It's a false positive.

Safe for your computer yes. But I would recommend not even playing it. Too many trolls. Too many truck accidents (caused by people who crash intentionally into other players just trying to play the game). Stay away from it

It might be fun if you actually team up with friends and drive a convoy or something like that. Chat on discord while driving etc.. Otherwise, I recommend a traffic mod to enhance the ingame traffic, like DP's traffic.

TMP community is safe !
However the so called "kings" domination is a problem.
The upline is not communicative.
Fixing a problem as basic as possible is impossible.
