DG2 Freemaps is Now ONLINE !!
I am VERY proud and happy to announce that, with the knowledge and blessings of "Hidden Path", the new DG2-FreeMaps website has gone live!

The URL for this community driven website is
http://www.DG2FreeMaps.com

We hereby invite you all to visit the site, download and try out some great custom maps made by Inventive fans of Defense Grid 2 and share your own custom creation with the DG2 community! This site is a great place to share your custom maps, vote on maps, get valuable feedback from the community on playability, ideas, features, bugs and other useful tidbits.

For maps on the "Workshop Consideration" your feedback will be key to helping the maps creator submit a awesome map for sale consideration on "Hidden Paths" store.

This Site will continue to grow with both help from you and other authors of custom maps so if you find a map you love ? Say so in the maps comment section and help every map creator become a DG2 Architect Expert! ;)

Sad that the community had to make this, instead of the dev creating and hosting it themselves. Or just using the Workshop built into Steam.

So I downloaded barrier to entry, unzipped, copied all the files to mydocuments/dg2 and when I start the game up it says the game files are corrupt & to reinstall.

If I remove them, then the game starts up fine.

Any advice?

Note: I'm using Winrar to unzip

Did you include the folder ? eg . my MyDocuments/DG2/Barrier to Entry DG1 or did you just put the files in MyDocuments/DG2 ?

I just put the files. The directions say to unzip it, it wasn't clear on what level to unzip.

Ok, so this is weird, I unzipped the directory into My Documents/DG2 but when I fire up DG2, and I go to custom maps, it's empty - but it has an arrow, so I click on it, and it goes to another blank screen, and then I click on the arrow again - and barrier to entry shows up.

This is going to be really confusing. Why the 2 empty custom map screens? Any ideas?
