Solved Xbox controller bluetooth problem

Incase anyone has the same issue with an xbox one controller not connecting properly with bluetooth like I had on BazziteOS....
>It most likely is the firmware on the controller
>You can only update the firmware via Xbox Accessories app, or Xbox one or greater
>The Xbox Accessories app no longer works on windows 10 and you will be forced to use windows 11

I had to fix this issue with a Lenovo legion go that has windows 11 on it.
but once I updates the firmware for the controller it didn't have anymore issues.

figured it could help someone out at somepoint, especially when they try updating their controller on windows 10 only to learn that Windows cut support for the app on windows 10 for no reason.

All the other info I found skipped over this tiny detail, which would have saved me like an hour and a half of time
