To this day, almost 30 years after the fact, Age of Empires 2 has held a solid and special place in my gaming libraries, from the original physical copy I had as a child, sharing with my brothers, to getting it on Steam when I grew up and found Steam.
With how Age of Empires 3 was a sloppy mess, and how Age of Empires 4 has so many restrictions, Age of Empires 2 is just simply persisting and standing the test of time, thanks to the devs who Remastered this amazing game. I just wish Xbox Studios would understand that they need to let us enjoy the game, for those who don't want to do Multiplayer or PvP. Comp Stomps are still all the rage, and like Age of Empires 2, will stand the test of time.
