I'm not OP but I had a similar issue along with another task getting "stuck."

What happens is you'll assign the task, have a worker go over there to complete the task, then they just... stand there? If you try to move them they just walk back over to the task and nothing happens. The water task fixed itself after I exited the game then started it up after about 30 mins. I'm currently experiencing a "stuck" task with the washing machine. I am unsure how to post a screenshot, but the exact thing that happened with the watering task is happening now where they are assigned the task but just stand in front of it. I've tried re-loading the game after some time and nothing is fixing it.

Hey, I don’t have a screenshot but I can tell you what happens. There’s the task showing I can click on it, but when I click is says to “cancel task” or “exit”. Those are my only options. When I click on either option the game doesn’t respond to it.

Also, I have a second problem. It’s been over three days in the game and no guest are leaving or coming. My tasks list on the side is complete, so it’s not like I’m holding them up.
